  What better way to experience a taste of HK with the flavour combination of the egg waffle and HK Milk Tea ice cream? Toast Delight offers just that and MANY more, with their extensive menu featuring Thai Rolled Ice Cream and egg waffles. This place is a hidden hotspot located inside the Langham Square on the second floor. The ice cream tasted very much like HK Milk Tea and the egg waffle had a crunchy outer and soft interior. Staff was helpful with the menu and I will definitely come back again.

  I was with a few friends in the same plaza for dinner and had been craving HK egg waffles with ice cream since Woofles closed up shop. A friend of mine suggested Toast Delight so we went. This place is a bit hard to find if you're unfamiliar with the plaza (like me and my friends) we actually strolled around for a bit till we found it. I was surprised it was a tiny vendor in the wall with zero seating. basically the decor screamed hole in the wall. All their signage was printed out signs on paper made with MS word typed out in Calibri default font. However...We were greeted with the friendliest people behind the counter.
  
  All the flavours can be overwhelming out on the front but I'm glad they had a board closer to the counter that gives you a step by step direction of how to put in your order and which ice cream flavours you can choose.
  
  I ordered a HK egg waffle with red bean ice cream $7.50. The staff behind the counter dressed it up with a mini Oreo, gummy bear, chocolate chips, and a tiny bit of white cream to resemble a bear. It was cute and unexpected. My other friends ordered the exact same thing except with Neapolitan ice cream $7.50 and a HK milk tea flavoured Thai ice roll $8.50. I thought the price was actually really expensive for what we ate and considering it was a take out only. We ate the waffles standing and then we found benches inside this mall.
  
  My waffle took awhile to make so I was hoping it was fresh and warm but it was a bit cold and hard. My ice cream, tasted a bit freezer burned. I would have enjoyed it way more if it was soft serve but because it was so frozen hard, it was hard to eat. My friend who ordered the HK Milk tea flavoured Thai ice roll enjoyed her ice cream flavour a lot.
  
  Overall, next time I'm craving ice cream with HK egg waffles, I probably wouldn't come back here again. Disappointed with the texture, freshness, flavour, and thus, price point.

  Toast Delight, a small shop but with so much to offer!
  If you are looking for unique ice cream flavours and specialty bubble waffles, you are in for a treat! If you have a bigger appetite or want a bigger dessert, you can have ice cream added to your bubble waffles too!
  
  The sweet and savoury treats do cost a little more than you would expect for a snack but Toast Delight does a great job with the variety, toppings, flavours and portions.
  I happened to try this place again after a very long overdue visit and a disappointing lunch. My friend and I ordered the seaweed, pork floss and sesame bubble waffles. It was only about a 5 minute wait and we got a pipping hot freshly made bubble waffles. It had just the right amount of each topping and the savoury treat was crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside! It was so yummy!
  
  Next time I'll be trying durian or ube or maybe even the pizza egg waffle (if I'm looking for a meal!).

  I love round objects, things like balloons, bubbles and honeycombs. Which is why I must love egg waffles! The perfect combination of crunchy exterior yet softy custardy egg in the inside. Iove that they're a mom and pop shop and their technique and recipe is on the same level of Mammy's pancake in Hong Kong

  Rolled Ice Cream - 5/5: The texture is amazing. I hate soft, melty, airy ice cream and this is the opposite. Firm, dense and intriguingly  crumbly on the inside (in a good, non-gritty way). They have A LOT of flavours to choose from. The standards like vanilla bean, oreo & chocolate to more unique flavours like roasted chestnut, s'mores, squid ink & yam.
  
  Pizza Bubble Waffle - 5/5: Surprisingly delicious, but it may not appeal to everyone. They customized the pizza 1/2 cheese & pepperoni, 1/2 cheese & mushroom. I preferred the pepperoni for the salty and sweet mix.
  
  Original Bubble Waffle - 4/5: This is a standard, well-made bubble waffle. Fluffy on the inside but could be a little crispier on the outside.  
  
  Service - 5/5: The owners are so friendly and helpful. They were happy to accommodate the modifications we made to our order.
  
  Location: This has nothing to do with food quality or service. Toast Delight is a to-go set up. There isn't much seating around the mall - maybe a few benches. It is not the place to go to with a big group if you expect to sit and lounge.
